Compelled to Live & Share Belovedness
A transformative truth that many still need to experience
I’m writing on Substack because I have no other choice. I feel compelled to do it. I was hesitant at first. Some of my good friends, like Stephen Smith,
, and , write often. I’m not in their league, but I, too, have a story of transformation to tell. Maybe God can use my journey to help someone in theirs. My wife, Kristi, recently discovered
who said the same thing. Your “story might be exactly what someone needs to recognize God in their everyday life.” Kristi exclaimed after reading one of Grant’s other posts, “This guy sounds like he just heard you speak. He’s saying a lot of the same things.”So
I’m publishing today because you pushed me over the edge when you said, “The world needs writers who have discovered their unshakeable identity as beloved children of God. Your words carry power not because of your skill but because of who lives within you.”I discovered Belovedness and experienced it profoundly and transformatively in September 2018 at
, Divide, CO. My deep understanding that I was God’s Beloved overwhelmed me with freedom and joy that were almost inexpressible - almost. I must express what’s burning in my soul. That’s why I’m writing on Substack.Belovedness changed my life. I will never go back to a performance-based relationship with God. Through this Substack, I hope to build a community of brothers and sisters who want to experience the “much more” of the life in Christ, who know that the “exhausted life” is not the abundant life that Jesus promised, and who desire to change future generations by building Belovedness into their kids and grandkids.
Does this resonate with you? Join me. Let’s plumb the depths together of God’s Beloved love, His “hesed” covenant love, and His everlasting, faithful, unending, loyal love that blesses 1000’s of generations.
My Journey to Belovedness, my testimony, will be my next post. After that, I will write something new about once a week, maybe more . . . Count on this - my posts will be transparent and honest. I’ll share my joys and sorrows, my hurts and healing, obstacles and overcoming, and it will all be written in the context of an unshakable relationship with the God who loves me just like He loves Jesus. (John 17:23) That truth changed my life: God loves me, even me, just like He loves Jesus! Wow!
All my posts will be free for now. I’m not opposed to someone supporting me as a paid subscriber, but no pressure! Let’s just learn and grow together.

I am so happy you are writing. I want to hear all the Lord is teaching you and I appreciate your voice
Mike, I created the sub stack account to follow you and learn more from your teaching and writing . God bless you.
